She prefers oils, but has also done charcoal drawings and watercolors.  Studio G now offers art classes in Hendersonville , TN utilizing several local artists as teachers.  Kelly finds beauty in the normal things, though her expression of that beauty surpasses the norm.

Along with photography, painting, providing art classes, Kelly does hair and makeup.  Originally Kelly began cutting hair at a local salon in Hendersonville, then took her talent to The Institute of Baptist Hospital where she worked over 5 years, including volunteer work with the Look Good, Feel Better program, and she was interviewed for CBS on Nashville’s very own, “Talk of the Town.”

The make up portion of her creativity started when she worked with some local music videos and other photographers before she began her own photography business in 1999.

So whether Kelly is using a camera, pair of scissors, a paint brush, make up brush, or brushing up pictures using photoshop; she brings her years of experience and passion to the forefront.

Kelly enjoys traveling, listening to all kinds of music, and watching a good movie in her free time.

Kelly Goad is a multi-dimensional creative artist.  She has always enjoyed expressing herself visually through art and photography.  Born and raised in Nashville , Kelly established Studio G in 1999, primarily for photography at first.  Over the years she has taken photographs of Alanis Morrisette, Brad Pasley, as well as more local talent such as Kelly Lang and of course weddings, senior photos, babies, and all sorts of special occasions.

Beyond photography Kelly is passionate about painting as a creative outlet, as you will notice with her bold use of colors and variety of styles; she sees the vibrancy of life and creation.
